After we get in to the apartment, first--the Wifi is not working (ok after restart), second--the AC is totally not cooling(like didn't clean AC for long time)(and we cannot open the window because many mosquito outside the garden), third--there are used bedsheet & used pillow inside the cabinet. Fourth--the chair cushion outside the garden is only broken sponge. We really can't sleep in the apartment when Milan temperature was like 32 at night(we moved out on the first night). I did informed the company and ask for half refund. The funny part was they replied me saying that they will not refund because I did not give them a chance to clean up and change whatever I need. As a hosteller, you should do all the cleanings and inspection before handing the apartment to your client!!!! Not doing that after your client complain!!! It is totally unacceptable!!! Read moreJannett 02 Aug, 2024The property was a 10 min walk to Milan central station which was perfect for our day trips to Venice and Florence, its costs 14 euros to get to the city centre and the metro is a 6 min walk. The property is huge with 3 large bathrooms , spacious kitchen. We loved coming home to the large bedrooms and not a small hotel. We lived like the locals, there is a small supermarket 3 blocks away, we all loved the place and would recommend this for a large family or even 2 families. Carting your luggage up and down 5 flights of stairs was not easy. The agent also expected us to stay 5 days without fresh towels. There was no toaster only a kettle, thankfully there was an iron and hairdryer. Accommodation is suitable for a young couple not for older people. And there was a mosquito problem. Es Horrible nunca se comunicaron y cuándo logró dar con la llave e ingresamos estaba totalmente sucio un asco. No tengan como opción esta propiedad es un desastre y una decepción para cualquier turista. English translation: Lousy service, when you arrive in Milan you must go to pick up the key to the apartment to another location away from the accommodation. The apartment was so pretty and better than the photos showed. We had so much space and the bathroom was wonderful with great shower pressure. The view overlooking our area was pretty too. It was a 20 minute walk to the duomo which I thought was great and located very close to a park. It was also very close to a metro station and small train station which had a line directly into Malpensa airport which was wonderful! Literally 2 minute walk. So happy with our choice and would definitely stay again. They said it may not be ready yet but that we would drop our bags off. We arrived to find the apartment still dirty from the previous visitors, and no cleaner in sight. So we waited until 2:55pm and then called Italianway to explain the situation. They said they would sort it out so we should just leave our bags and walk around for a bit. I asked when they expected it to be cleaned by and they couldn’t give me an answer. When we went back at 4:15pm (over an hour after the apartment was supposed to have been ready for us) the cleaner was there, and said she would be another hour or so. So we had to go back out and wasted over 2 hours of our first day in Milan, waiting for our apartment to be ready. Italianway did refund our cleaning fee for this inconvenience, but just a warning to anyone we had had a long day and flight, and wants to rest before going out for the evening. Apart from this, the cleanliness was terrible. A layer of dust under the bed, which blew around the room as we walked around. Spider webs and mould in the shower, and the grout really needs to be scrubbed. The microwave had not been cleaned, and had some sort of melted cheese inside. There was a blood stain on my pillowcase which I only noticed on the third night. And squished bugs all over the walls. Besides the cleaning, all the walls are marked and need to be repainted, the window seal is broken, the tap on the kitchen sink is completely loose, there was a duvet but no duvet cover, the listing said toiletries were provided but there was only 1 toilet roll. Finally, the fridge door didn’t close. We had to push a chair against the door to keep it closed. They sent someone to defrost the fridge to get rid of the buildup of ice at the back, but didn’t bother fixing the issue. Overall, not the experience we expected for the price. Their motto is apparently providing high quality finishes, but there is no attention to detail here whatsoever. The wardrobe does not open unless you remove one side table and push the bed all the way to the door. And there is a poster on the wall with a picture frame hung in front of it. There are also pictures in the hallway clearly just printed from the internet, some with the watermark showing. Very odd. The costs of any damage done by guests were also outlined, but I feel as though they should not charge any guests for damage when they are renting an apartment in a state such as this.
