The property manager wanted me to tell them the specs of the burned out bulbs. This is not my job as a guest . Also the bathroom vents are very dirty. They did not clean them despite my request. The beach was not very far from the location, also Pisa and Lucca were in the near neighborhood. We could do our shoppings in a supermarket a few minutes away with the car. Read morePhilipp 16 Aug, 2024The house itself is very beautiful. However, the landlord doesn't seem to care about the condition. When we arrived, we found a completely dirty terrace (bird droppings). Everything inside is pretty dusty in the corners. Spices and coffee pods have been expired for years (around 15x pepper). An old, full filter bag in the coffee machine, an old pad in the coffee pad machine. The equipment is very good (kitchen, living room). Everything around the house is pretty overgrown, including the driveway where bushes brush the floor of the car. Unfortunately there are a lot of termites running around in the house, I have no idea where they always get in. In any case, we had to deal with numerous termites every day. We hadn't received any information from anyone before we arrived and were initially faced with closed doors. Interhome, as the specified host, was completely incompetent and said during the phone call that we hadn't booked at all. Travelstaytion was only available again on Monday (arrived on Saturday afternoon). Everything became clear on Monday when we received the relevant information from Interhome about Travelstaytion via voucher and the name and number of the contact person, who fortunately had left the house key hidden outside so that we could get in on the day of arrival. Of course it was also our fault that we didn't ask about the voucher before departure. We received an email from Travelstaytion saying that the host would get in touch. We never heard anything from the actual landlord, Interhome was listed as the host (we booked through Hometogo, Travelstaytion was listed as the travel agency), but they didn't know anything. The location is very remote. You can go on wonderful hikes directly from there. It's an hour's drive to the coast and the nearest supermarket is 25 minutes away. Temperature is always a few degrees cooler than on the coast due to altitude. After our initial difficulties, we were able to really enjoy our vacation. It's a shame that this very beautiful and idyllic house is so neglected and the host listed is completely incompetent. Unfortunately the sea was full of algae and dirty and not suitable for relaxing. If you are prepared to drive 15 minutes to the beach in Grado, you can enjoy this stay with a pool. Super large balcony facing south. The kitchen and bathroom in the flat have recently been redone, which is great. In the other rooms, there are small repairs that should be done, the air conditioning, only in the bedroom, the remote failed, not possible to change the battery yourself ... 140cm double bed, for a 60 year old couple... small... Für Leute welche um 20-21.00 Schlafen wollen ist dies unmöglich, auch am Morgen wird man schon um 7.10 Uhr durch das laute Geräusch geweckt. Wir kommen nur schon aus diesem Grunde nicht ein 2. Mal!!
