TAMER 21 Oct, 2024The location was amazing, the building is old but that's understandable. The apartment has been renovated and is good for a few days stay in Alghero. I didn't like the fact that they had 'fines' for every small thing in the apartment - for example, 50 euros for not washing the dishes, or 100 euros for not sorting the garbage. This was unacceptable to me as no other host would do such a thing. We always leave any apartment the same way we took it, but seeing such 'threats' (in my opinion) would never make me want to come back again to this apartment. Also, they only provided one roll of toilet paper, where they promised to send another one and they did not. (Not a big deal, but as they have expectations and fines for the guests, we - as the guests - have certain expectations that must be met). The location was great, very close to the train station and in the center of town. The couch is actually a fold out bed which was a nice surprise. Hopefully I’ll be back soon ???? Read moreJEREMY 02 Oct, 2024The check in process was terrible. We arrived at 5 PM and the office was supposed to be open until 7 PM. No one was around to check us in. After emailing the property management, I received very poor instructions on how to check in and found the keys. Upon entering the apartment, we found out the elevator was out of service. This was very inconvenient to haul up luggage 4 flights of stairs. Upon entering the apartment we found that the Wi-Fi password did not work. I emailed the property management five times with no response to fix the Wi-Fi. 24 hours later, we were able to find a property manager to reset the router to fix the Wi-Fi. After looking around the apartment, we found multiple dings and scars on the walls, two blood spots on the floor in one bathroom, one bathroom sink was taken apart and parts left on the floor, broken light switch covers, exposed wiring in the laundry room, and one bathroom door couldn’t open all the way because it would hit the wall cabinet in the bathroom. Apartment was advertised to have a personal parking spot, but only street parking was available while we were there. However, street parking was full the entire time. The photo listing with the apartment amenities did not match what we received. The apartment sleeps 4, but only had lounge seating for three people. There were 3 Domo Meas in the city, and when I contacted the host, I was referred to someone else. There are no screens on the window and a few that are they are broken so it’s easy for insects to get into the house, especially when you’re cooking. The Wi-Fi was not very liable. We were not able to come home after busy day of sightseeing and just unwind and watch a movie together as a family because of the Wi-Fi not always working even after we contacted The Host about it could be better water spilling everywhere when you’re taking a shower so the bathroom get wet to get privacy when you’re using the bathroom, the glass just has a sheet covering on it and you have to close the window so there’s no ventilation in the house. There is a well stocked kitchen, massive garden area, two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Good air con & Wi-Fi. Perfect location for bars, restaurants and transport links.
