    PROS. Check in/out process was easy. Location is great, we know this area well and love it. The back garden is a nice area to sit out in. CONS. Not child friendly. Steep, narrow stairs down to the front door, almost impossible to get a pram up/down it. Also, there are little steps in the hall and living area and very narrow corridors which aren't good with a child. Beds are uncomfortable. There was about 100 bottles of body lotion, and only 2 shower gel. Weird! It is an ok flat in a lovely area. Wouldn't advise it if you are coming with young kids or babies, and don't expect any sort of luxury. Read more

    We were most pleasantly surprised to discover that there were two bathrooms, not one. Perhaps your host should clarify that issue, in the listing and photos, as the apartment was far more desirable than we had expected. The beds were fine quality and very comfortably firm. The apartment size and excellent location are big pluses. Previously we have only stayed at the airport or in Kensington and Mayfair. Putney is a real find!! Great shopping for groceries, sundries and almost anything else. We will definitely stay in this apartment again if it is available. Read more

    We had a great stay in the “Modern Edwardian” flat in Islington. Although the weather was unseasonably hot, we slept well with the windows open and heard hardly any street noise. We appreciate the effort from the owners and Veeve in responding to our requests and making our stay just the way we wanted it. Read more
