DULCE 30 Jun, 2024The apartment is beautiful but very noisy, the bedrooms have windows to a big aveneu so if you have a light dream do not recomend. Tha air conditioner did not work and it was very hardo to sleep some days, we report it as soon as got there and they never fix it. I would not recommend this appartment. There was broken glass on the floor behind and next to the couch. Upon arrival we had a picture fall off the wall, l notified the host, no reply to my email, but someone accessed the apartment without our knowledge to fix it. The apartment didn't have any basic items such as tea bags not even toilet paper. The sheets on one of the beds was dirty. I sent multiple emails and didn't receive a response during our stay. But certainly received emails to my queries prior to arrival. The man that gave us access to the apartment wasn't very helpful. We were met by friendly reps, despite our last minute delayed flight, and were given an excellent online info pack. The square that the apartment is in is lovely - a really interesting bookshop, good restaurants and bars, and of course the Ursino castle. The local areas has a really friendly vibe. There is often live music in the square, and it's the best of both worlds - plenty to see and do nearby, but quiet and peaceful inside. The apartment was exactly as the pictures - we really felt at home, it was well equipped and we slept well. The chilled water, nespresso machine with pods, and air con were much appreciated. My only criticism (and it is very minor) is that the shower door is a bit tricky to open and close. The area felt very safe, and you can walk to the cathedral square in 10 mins. Easy to catch the bus to Palermo/Syracusa etc from Piazza Paolo Borsellino near the fish market, a 5 min walk away (which saves a longer walk to the bus station). Good idea to book buses in advance online (especially for Palermo) as they get booked up. We really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely stay here again if we return. Highly recommend! Värdinnan som överlämnade nycklarna var väldigt duktig på engelska o gav oss många tips om Neapel o fanns tillgänglig på WhatsApp om vi behövde fråga om något. Miljön på gatan utanför var inte förtroendeingivande, men när man väl kom in genom porten kändes allt bara bra. Det var första gången vi hyrde lägenhet, men absolut inte den sista.
